Welcome to On Point Pest Control,

Our mission is to remove invasive fauna that damages our native ecosystems, carry diseases and destroys both agriculture and commercial/industrial industries.

We also aim to establish a sustainable ecosystem in which native animals and primary production can coexist harmoniously. This goal can be achieved by eliminating introduced pests and managing the population of native species that have become reliant on enhanced farmland.

About Us

On Point Pest Control is a business owned and operated by veterans and located in the Hunter region. We are dedicated to our work, and our commitment is evident in the thorough planning and high-quality services we provide. At On Point, safety is our top priority, and we adhere to stringent guidelines that govern our business operations.

Why Firearms

We frequently receive inquiries regarding the ongoing debate about the use of Guns versus Poisons. While we possess the necessary qualifications to handle and administer poisons within our programs, we have deliberately chosen not to do so. Our decision is rooted in several key reasons.
First and foremost, we firmly believe that the use of poisons is inherently inhumane. While we understand that there are instances where the sheer magnitude of a pest infestation may seem overwhelming, leading some to resort to large-scale bait applications, we prefer to employ an aerial program. This approach allows us to achieve targeted precision and manage high volumes, without compromising on ethical considerations.
Additionally, the indiscriminate nature of poisons poses a significant threat to non-target animals, resulting in detrimental effects on native wildlife. Our commitment to wildlife preservation and environmental protection drives us to avoid methods that may harm innocent bystanders in the ecosystem.
Furthermore, the potential for poisons to infiltrate the soil, crops, and vines raises serious environmental concerns. The repercussions of secondary poisoning, where an animal consuming bait becomes toxic and subsequently impacts another animal in the food chain, further underscores the inherent risks associated with poisons.
In light of these factors, we remain steadfast in our approach to pest control, prioritising methods that align with our values of humane treatment, environmental sustainability, and targeted precision.

At On Point Pest Control, we prioritise the use of the most humane methods available accompanied by thorough clean-up procedures. This means that, aside from the comprehensive report you'll receive after the completion of our work, there will be no indication that we, On Point Pest Control, or the pests were ever present at your property.

Our operations involve the use of thermal devices to minimise any potential light pollution and disruptions to livestock or the surrounding environment. Additionally, we ensure that all firearms are equipped with suppressors to lessen noise pollution for the same reasons.
